What is the Entertainment Weekly Front Row Panel?
The Front Row Panel is an online community created by Entertainment Weekly that allows you to help shape everything from editorial and website features to new products and services to future advertising campaigns. By registering, you can choose to participate in a range of surveys, product testing programs, polls and forum discussions throughout the year.
Why should I join Entertainment Weekly Front Row Panel?
As a member you will have the opportunity to influence decisions made by Entertainment Weekly publishers, editors and marketers and to express your opinions on a wide range of subjects. You will also have access to exclusive event invitations, advertiser offers, and more.
Registration is entirely free and there is no obligation to participate in surveys or other activities once you've registered, though we hope you take an active part in our community!
Now that I've joined the Entertainment Weekly Front Row Panel, what happens next?
Once you have joined the Entertainment Weekly Front Row Panel you will periodically receive emails from us – invitations to participate in surveys, offers from our partners and advertisers, invitations to screenings and other exclusive events, etc.
How often will I be invited to take part in online surveys?
You will most likely receive an invitation to participate in a survey around once a month, sometimes more, sometimes less. You are free to take part in as many of the surveys as you wish and there is no obligation to participate.
In general, how long does an online survey take?
Our surveys usually last anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes depending on the subject matter and type of survey. Our invites usually state how much time we expect a given survey to take. We try our best to ensure that all the surveys will be as simple, fun and as relevant as possible. And, your feedback to them is always extremely valuable and important to us.
Do I get rewarded for taking part on the Front Row Panel?
Though we hope that all Front Row members join the panel mainly because they want to provide feedback to Entertainment Weekly and have their voice heard, we do try to reward our members as often as possible. Beyond occasional prizes and giveaways, we currently offer a quarterly drawing (see rules here) in which 5 ‘Grand Prize' winners will each get a $500 e-gift card, 20 ‘First Prize’ winners will each receive a $100 e-gift card and 20 ‘Second Prize’ winners will each receive a $25 e-gift card. Each survey you take is an entry in the drawing. The more surveys you complete, the better your odds of winning.
I've forgotten my username or password. What do I do?
If you have forgotten your username or password, click on "Forgot my password" below the login area and enter your email address. You will then receive an email with your password and username.
How do I change my password or the email I use for The Front Row Panel?
To change your password or email address, log in and click on the ‘My Profile' tab. Enter your new password or email address and then click 'Update'.
How can I change my personal information?
To change your personal information, log in to the panel website and go to the ‘My Profile' tab. You will then be able to view your personal information that you provided when you registered for the Front Row Panel. Remember to click ‘Update' after modifying your details. You can also update other personal information including your mailing address by clicking on the Update Info link on our home page.
How do I leave the Entertainment Weekly Front Row Panel?
You can cancel your membership at any time by unsubscribing from the panel. There will be unsubscribe links in every email we send you, as well as an unsubscribe link on the panel website. You can also email us at EWFrontRow@ew.com and ask to be removed from the panel.
What will you do with the information I share with you?
Please refer to our privacy policy and terms of use for information on how your data will be used.
What if I'm not receiving any emails?
You should get a confirmation email when you register for the Front Row Panel and an email for every survey we invite you to participate in. You will also periodically receive emails alerting you to new topics and activities available on the Front Row website, as well as special offers and invitations from our partners and advertisers. To ensure you receive these emails, please add EWFrontRow@ew.com to your list of trusted senders.
If you're not getting emails, please make sure you check your spam folder. You can also click on the ‘Contact Us' form on the website for assistance.
How will my survey answers and forum comments be used?
Your feedback will be analyzed by the Entertainment Weekly consumer research team, and will be shared with EW editors and marketers when appropriate. Results will be viewed at an aggregate level only and no individual respondent will be identified in any way. The only exception to this is in-person discussion groups or some product testing studies, where your name may be associated with specific comments/feedback. In both cases, the choice of whether to participate or not will be entirely yours, and we will confirm with you if and how your comments can be used or shared.

Write to us using the ‘Contact Us' form on the website and we'll be happy to help. Make sure you mention the device and browser you are using, and anything you recall about what happened, including any error messages you recall having seen, so we can better identify the issue and prevent it from happening to others.
